
PROCEED WITH CONSTRUCTION
In the event that you wish to proceed with construction prior to having
confirmed mortgage approval, it will be necessary for you to authorize
us to "Proceed with Construction". This, again, is accomplished by
waiving in writing, any and all contingencies on the lower left corner
of your Sales Contract. The remaining amount of your construction
deposit is, also, due at this time. All color selections, changes,
Personal Design Plan, and Change Order Acknowledgement are submitted
in preparation for the Pre-construction meeting. We may then, at our
option, start the construction process early. It is important to note
there may be a significant time lag between your authorization to "Proceed
with Construction" and the actual construction start. All plan designs
must be approved and finalized, the home must be scheduled for production,
and the "building permit" process takes approximately two (2) weeks.
Therefore, it may take 3 - 4 weeks after your authorization to "Proceed
with Construction" before construction actually begins.
