Hayden Homes, Inc. recently acquired 49 homesites and is now selling luxury homes at the Summit at BaratHaven, a brand new park-like community at a prime and convenient location between Weldon Spring Rd. and Winghaven Blvd. in Dardenne Prairie in St. Charles County.
The Summit at BaratHaven is part of a greater community being created by the Great Rivers Greenway District in collaboration with many others. This 211-acre development south of Dardenne Creek at Highway 40/61 brings together park area, commercial development, residential and a proposed private school by the name of Barat Academy, a Sacred Heart and Catholic college preparatory school offering single-gender classes within a coeducational environment. In fact, the name BaratHaven, its logo and many of the street names have come from the history surrounding the Society of the Sacred Heart and its founder St. Madeline Sophie Barat.
“BaratHaven is an extremely well-planned neighborhood conveniently located in the community and provides a wonderful setting for our customers to build their new Hayden home,” says Dennis Hayden, president of Hayden Homes.
Hayden’s homesites at The Summit at BaratHaven are the most generous in size, ranging from 12,000 square feet to more than 27,000. More than half of these homesites are walk-outs and the rest comprises lookouts, side-lookouts and in-grade homesites. The rolling terrain at The Summit sits high and is surrounded by mature trees, creating a very serene and secluded feel for this community. Plus, The Summit, while part of the overall BaratHaven community, benefits from a separate entrance on Henning Rd. with its own entrance monument.
One of the nicest features of this community is that while it may feel secluded, there are many close opportunities to enhance lifestyle. For instance, more than three miles of trail will be constructed within BaratHaven, enabling trail users to walk, bike, rollerblade or jog to nearby amenities. In the future, this trail system will be extended into the August A. Busch State Wildlife Area and to additional land purchased by the Great Rivers Greenway District. It will also connect to surrounding shopping, employment and recreation, such as a new, contiguous 15-acre stocked lake with viewing and fishing opportunities. This entire community will feature natural Missouri plantings to enhance education and beauty. The proposed Barat Academy also features amenities, such as playing fields and tennis courts that may be used by the public when not in use by the school. The Summit at Barathaven also has a convenient location for the greater area. Chesterfield is less than 12 minutes away.
Hayden Homes is offering six luxury home designs at The Summit, including two ranch plans, two story-and-a-half plans and two two-story plans.
