Since its founding in 1977, Hayden Homes received numerous awards
as well as national recognition from leading industry publications.
These include the following:
Chesterfield Ancient History - Leonard Blake Award
In August 2008, The Chesterfield City Council and the Chesterfield Landmarks Preservation Commission awarded Dennis Hayden the Chesterfield Ancient History Award for his role in preserving a prehistoric Native American site discovered at the Countryside at Chesterfield subdivision in 1993. The award is given annually to an individual who has made a significant contribution to recognize and preserve prehistory in the community. After discovering interesting rock flakes and the presence of looters during the beginning of site work at Countryside in 1993, Dennis Hayden contacted the police, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and archaeologists at the University of Missouri-Columbia. He then protected the site and funded its archaeological excavation, which revealed a large Native American Village dating between 2300 and 1900 B.C.

The Homer Award is the "Oscar" of the St. Louis home building industry.

projects throughout the St. Louis region.

The Home Builders Association of Greater St. Louis developed the BRAVO
Awards in 1995/96 to honor HBA builders that have created beautiful
neighborhoods and to show what happens when these communities "grow up."
Eligible communities have been complete for 6-10 years and are judged
based on the style and condition of the community, the streetscape,
the desirability of the community as a place to live, the resale value
of homes in the community and the condition and upkeep of neighborhood
facilities, if any. In the first nine years this award program was in
existence and while Hayden Homes was amember of the HBA, Hayden Homes garnered eight of these highly coveted
awards, proof that our communities and homes retain their beauty and
value many years after they are sold and built.
2004 World-Class Customer Satisfaction Award
In 2004, Hayden Homes was one of nine companies and the only home builder to be honored by the Better Business Bureau of Eastern Missouri and Southern Illinois with its "World-Class Customer Satisfaction Award" for 2004. The BBB of Eastern Missouri and Southern Illinois created this biennial award to recognize exceptional business practices in the St. Louis area and promote customer relations research and employee training to better serve customers. In the nomination profile written by Phil Moses, Customer Connection Director of the BBB of Eastern Missouri and Southern Illinois, our comprehensive customer service program was spotlighted.
